By Adnews Staff
Retail chain Shoppers Drug Mart has modified its Shoppers Optimum loyalty program to include a new reward level called Shoppers Optimum Plus. Current members of the program, which is also open to customers of the Pharmaprix chain, will automatically be enrolled in the new level when they accumulate 10,000 regular points in a year. The new program offers various incremental loyalty rewards and special offers. "Today, the Shoppers Optimum program is appreciated and loved by close to nine million customers," said Jurgen Schreiber, president and CEO of Shoppers Drug Mart. "Since its inception, we've continuously evolved the program, finding innovative ways to reward and inform our cardholders. With the introduction of Shoppers Optimum Plus, we are recognizing our most loyal customers by providing them even more rewards and benefits to thank them for shopping with us." The company operates 1,090 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores nationally.
