CHATELAINE GOES ON THE AIRWAVES

Toronto-based Maclean Hunter is taking its latest Chatelaine Special Edition magazine to the air waves next month in the form of a program called Chatelaine Renovates: Kitchens and Baths!. This is an example of Rogers Communications integrating Maclean Hunter properties with its own after taking over MH last year. The five-minute TV show will air on Rogers Broadcasting's Homes Plus channel in eight different segments over an eight-week period. The spot will showcase kitchen and bath renovations found in the magazine. The publication profiles 20 renovations. It features how-to projects along with helpful renovation hints and checklists. Forty thousand copies will go to newsstands and 75,000 will be delivered to select subscribers of Chatelaine this week.
