PortsToronto becomes Toronto Port Authority

PortsToronto has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The organization will now operate as the Toronto Port Authority. This marks a return to the body’s historic name following approximately 10 years as PortsToronto. The federal agency is responsible for the city’s harbour as well as the operation of Billy Biship Toronto City Airport. The rebranding also includes the introduction of a new logo.
“Reintroducing the Toronto Port Authority name is more than a rebrand, it's a powerful affirmation of our foundational purpose and our future vision,” said R.J. Steenstra, president and CEO of the Toronto Port Authority. “We honour our 115-year legacy as a city builder and steward of Toronto's harbour, shaping the waterfront and enabling the city's evolution. This renewed identity reflects our commitment to modernization, sustainability and public value for Toronto, Ontario and Canada.”
