
Kellanova conducts Cheez-It Escape

Kellanova Canada has begun an experiential promotion for its Cheez-It snack food brand. Called the “Cheez-It Escape,” the promotion consists of a themed location at the Drake Motor Inn in Prince Edward, ON. Consumers can book a free two-day stay at the location, including a variety of activities involving local businesses. The promotion, which will run until March 22, is being conducted in collaboration with Starcom and MSL Canada.
“Cheez-It fans are some of the most passionate snack lovers out there, and we’ve seen just how far they’ll go to get their cheezy fix,” said Nicole Gawen, vice-president of marketing and wellbeing at Kellanova Canada. “With the ‘Cheez-It Escape,’ we’re celebrating that obsession, and saying thank you, by giving them a completely free, one-of-a-kind retreat where they can indulge in their love for Cheez-It like never before. Canadians are also craving new and spontaneous adventures, and this escape delivers the perfect blend of indulgence, fun and bold, cheezy excitement.”
