Adidas signs promotional deal with Aaliyah Edwards

Athletic apparel company Adidas Canada has signed a promotional agreement with basketball player Aaliyah Edwards, who plays for the University of Connecticut Huskies. She was also a member of the Canadian Olympic women’s basketball team in 2020. According to the company, Edwards is the first Canadian it has offered a promotional agreement under name, image and likeness guidelines allowing student athletes to profit from their activities.

She is a natural leader and positive influence for so many young aspiring athletes and we deeply value her dedication to championing other female athletes within the community.”
