CBC Kids readies reading initiative
By Rob Bale
CBC Kids is preparing to resume its “CBC Kids Reads” initiative for a second year. From March 2 to 7, CBC Kids hosts and characters will present six children’s books in an effort to encourage children to read. The effort will take place during CBC Kids morning programming, as well as on streaming service CBC Gem and the brand’s Youtube channel. The initiative will end with a 30-minute special program during which a winner will be announced. CBC Kids is a division of CBC/Radio-Canada.
