TD readies Super Bowl ads

Toronto-based bank TD is preparing to release two commercials to coincide with the broadcast of the NFL Super Bowl game this weekend. The first ad will promote the bank’s TD Easy Trade mobile application. It is aimed primarily at young investors and seeks to demonstrate how the app can simplify the investing process. The second commercial is intended to “break taboos around talking about money” and depict the company as a trusted advisor. It promotes the bank’s personalized advice and everyday banking services, using the theme that, “at a time of heightened uncertainty, Canadians don’t have to figure out money and investing on their own.”
