PADULO HAS BMG DIRECT JOB

Padulo Integrated won an assignment south of the border recently. The Toronto agency will be handling a project for New York music club BMG Direct to keep U.S. members buying CDs. Traditionally, creative is handled in-house with the help of freelancers, but the company decided it wanted a fresh look to its advertising for this particular assignment, BMG executive vice-president Leon Graham told Adnews yesterday. A new campaign will be launched in the fall. Padulo got the business without a review because of it performance in January when it handled the Canadian portion of the advertising for the launch of BMG Music Service in North America. Grey Direct of New York does media buying in the U.S. BMG Direct sells mail-order CDs and cassettes. It is a unit of BMG Entertainment, which is a division of the German company Bartelsmann AG.
