BCP AND CANADIAN ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATION

Montreal-based BCP walked away with the Canadian Electrical Association account last week, after beating out three other shops in a competition. The association hasn't advertised before, but decided to start doing so because it "wanted to remind people how much electricity can bring to their lives," agency client services vice-president Ken Smith told Adnews last week. The Canadian Electrical Association represents all electrical companies associated with the production, transformation and distribution of electricity in Canada. Its annual advertising budget is $1.5 million. Both the Toronto and Montreal offices of BCP will work on the account.
