Awards: Marketing Hall of Legends 2013

The Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association has announced its list of inductees into the Marketing Hall of Legends of Canada for 2013. The the "visionaries" category, the new additions are Aldo Bensadoun, founder and executive chairman of the Aldo Group, and Lise Watier, founder of Lise Watier Cosmétiques. In the "builders" category, the organization will add John Betts, president and CEO of McDonaldss Restaurants of Canada, Bonnie Brooks, president of the Hudson's Bay Company, and Ivan Fecan, formerly of CTV. In the "enablers" category, new additions will include Hugh Dow, formerly of MacLaren McCann, Jack Bensimon, president of Bensimon Byrne, David Kincaid, founder and CEO of Level5 Strategy Group, and Rick Padulo, chairman and CEO of Padulo Integrated. Stéfan Danis, CEO of Mandrake, will join the list in the "mentor" category.

"We are very proud to recognize this year's outstanding additions to the Marketing Hall of Legends," said Tania Stadnik, chair of the Marketing Hall of Legends. "This year's inductees have been instrumental in the continued evolution of the industry. Beyond their innovative campaigns and strong strategies, they have also dedicated their professional careers to improving the lives of those around them and affording opportunities to others through their charitable and community contributions."
