CakeMail releases mobile app for email marketing

Montreal-based email marketing company CakeMail has released a mobile application intended to allow users to manage and track email marketing campaigns from Android and Apple devices. Users can send or schedule email drafts created on a desktop computer, track which recipients opened the email or clicked on links, add contacts to an email list and track the history of a contact list.
"Simplicity is our focus at CakeMail," said company CEO Francois Lane. "Last quarter we launched CakeMail 4 to provide a simpler way to create and send email campaigns. CakeMail Mobile is the next step to make email marketing easier and more effective. The mobile app gives users the flexibility to send or schedule campaigns, manage contacts, track campaigns or add new contacts from anywhere using a smartphone."
