Stanley Park Brewing debuts new branding

Vancouver-based Stanley Park Brewing recently retained Will of Vancouver to undertake a rebranding initiative. The assignment includes new packaging, collateral materials, point-of-sale materials and a launch campaign. Whereas the brewer's previous branding was based on the lion statues in Stanley Park, according to the company, the new branding is intended to better convey innovation and quality. The new visuals are intended to be "simple and approachable," making use of illustrated scenes of the park, a logo based on the shape of the park and a typeface based on a historical Stanley Park sign.
The launch campaign uses the tagline, "Exploring is in our Nature" and consists of out-of-home and digital advertising, along with social media activities and a redesigned website.
"Stanley Park beer is brewed to be an invigorating break from the everyday, and the new look has been crafted with that same purpose," said Nick Richards, executive creative director at Will. "We want to inspire new consumers and old fans to seek out adventure with us, and breathe a little Park into their own lives."
