Kelseys introduces new branding

Restaurant chain Kelseys has undertaken a redesign of its locations intended to attract younger consumers. The work, performed by Toronto-based Open, is intended to recall the concept of a roadhouse while remaining "relevant and modern." The design assignment included the menu, staff uniforms, a postcard for customers, icons representing various types of food, and new signage using the chain's existing red and blue corporate colours. Ten Kelseys locations have been renovated so far, with the remainder to be completed by 2019. Kelseys is a division or Cara.
