Hiram Walker readies Whisky Weekend

Alcohol company Hiram Walker & Sons is preparing a promotion for its J.P. Wiser's product line called the “J.P. Wiser's Whisky Weekend.” The promotion will take the form of an event at the Hiram Walker Distillery in Windsor, ON from Oct. 2 to 4 to coincide with the birthday of historic distiller John Philip Wiser. It comprises a series of presentations highlighting the history of Canadian whisky, including tours, classes and product sampling, along with food and music.
“There's something special about welcoming guests to the place where J.P. Wiser's vision continues today,” said Don Livermore, master blender at Hiram Walker & Sons. “He believed deeply in the potential of Canadian whisky, and ‘Whisky Weekend’ gives us the chance to open our doors, bring people closer to where the whisky is made and share a side of the distillery they don't often get to see.”
