SodaStream begins Canadian campaign
SodaStream Canada, producer of a home device for creating sparkling water, has begun what it describes as its first major advertising campaign in Canada. The brand awareness campaign, developed by The Mint Agency, uses the tagline, "Fresh sparkling water always available at home." It includes a 15-second television commercial, accompanied by print ads and in-store materials. Media buying is being conducted by Carat.
"We know that consumers love sparkling water," said Doug Pritchard of SodaStream Canada. "We know that they are looking for healthier and more economic alternatives to their existing beverage choices. Many of our consumers want to drink more water. Most consumers want to understand how the machine works, so we wanted to be sure to show them how simple it is to have sparkling water at home."
