Autism Canada breaks national campaign

The Autism Society Canada and the Autism Canada Foundation have merged to form a new advocacy organization called Autism Canada. The new group has begun a public service announcement campaign timed to coincide with Autism Awareness Month. The national campaign uses the tagline, "See the spectrum differently." It includes television commercials, online materials and social media activities. It will run through the month of October.

"The tagline is about seeing the potential in people living with autism and seeing that everyone deserves to have universal access to the supports, services and treatments they deserve," said Vicki Harvey, vice-chair of the organization.
