Stone Canoe, Colour merge in Toronto

Toronto-based Stone Canoe has merged its operations with those of Halifax-based Colour. Sone Canoe will now operate under the Colour name, and its office will become the Toronto branch of the agency. Both firms are part of The CHR Group of agencies, based in New York. Stone Canoe co-founder Jason Agar will joine Colour as vice-president of digital production. The firm's other co-founder and president, Scot Bryson, has moved to a new position at CHR Media Group.
"Over the last several months, Colour has been working closely with us, while our teams have become really excited about what they've been accomplishing together," said Agar. "With the growing importance of content marketing and creative social to our clients, it just makes sense to combine talent under the Colour banner."
