Dorsey/Holme Experience launches in Toronto

A new marketing agency called the Dorsey/Holme Experience has opened in Toronto. The agency was founded by partners Gary Holme and Stephen Dorsey. Holme has previously worked at Publicis Canada and Sapient Nitro, while Dorsey was previously at Bose and PlayNetwork. The agency has formed agreements with a number of other firms to provide specialized service to its clients. These include interactive agency Stone Canoe, production firm Frank Content, experiential marketing agency Sugar Media, media buying firm McIlroy & King and research company Harps. "Our five-year plan has us with maybe 15 people," said Holme. "Strategy and big, engaging ideas are the core of our business. We surround ourselves with all the people we need, whether it's researchers up front, creative collaborators in the middle, or analytics folks at the back end. We want to build something nimble, flexible and responsive." The agency is now working on a campaign for Toronto clothing retailer Gotstyle. It consists of online video advertising along with an upcoming online game. The creative depicts a naked man shopping online with a mobile device.
