Online publisher Wikia has signed an advertising sales representation agreement with Evolve Media. Evolve division Gorilla Nation will now be the exclusive representative for Wikia's online advertising in Canada and Australia. Wikia operates a group of video game, entertainment and lifestyle websites that attract approximately two million unique visitors in Canada. The sites offer user-generated content on approximately 200,000 pop culture subjects. "Wikia has shown impressive growth in their content-rich communities, especially those in gaming and entertainment, making it a perfect fit for Gorilla Nation, our sales division that has perfected the art of engaging entertainment enthusiasts," said Angela Kinsella, senior director of business development at Evolve Media. "Based on our successful track record of building beyond-the-banner campaigns, we're certain that this partnership will be highly beneficial for both readers and advertisers alike."
