Stella Artois opens Father's Day gift shop in Toronto

Labatt Breweries of Canada has begun a Father's Day promotion in Toronto in support of its Stella Artois brand. The initiative, which is being conducted in association with men's retailer Gotstyle, takes the form of a temporary retail store called the Stella Artois Gifting Shoppe. The store offers a collection of watches, leather goods, grooming items and other merchandise aimed primarily at fathers. The store also sells a branded beer glass that can be engraved. The venue will also be used for product sampling. The store will be open in downtown Toronto until June 15. The promotion also includes an online store at <http://www.stellaartoisshoppe.ca>.
"We know the Stella Artois chalice is an icon among beer connoisseurs," said Mike Bascom, director of marketing for Stella Artois. "Adding personalization takes that icon and makes it a truly meaningful gift. There's no better occasion to launch this new feature than Father's Day."
