Shaw promotes Williams

Shaw Communications of Calgary has promoted Barbara Williams to the positions of executive vice-president of broadcasting and president of Shaw Media. She was previously senior vice-president of content at Shaw Media. Prior to joining Shaw, Williams was executive vice-president of content at Canwest Broadcasting. She has also been vice-president and general manager of Toronto 1 and senior vice-president of lifestyle programming at Alliance Atlantis.
