Tim Hortons resumes Smile Cookie campaign

Tim Hortons has resumed its annual "Smile Cookie" campaign. Until Sept. 21, participating Tim Hortons locations nationally will sell a chocolate chunk cookie with a smile on it for one dollar. The proceeds from these sales will be donated to approximately 500 local charities, hospitals and community programs. The campaign is being supported with social media activites and a website at <http://www.timhortons.com/smilecookie>.

"The impact of the purchase of each Smile Cookie is tremendous," said David McMullen, vice-president of marketing at Tim Hortons. "At Tim Hortons we are fortunate to have very loyal guests, and with their support, along with the generosity of our restaurant owners, the campaign becomes larger and larger every year, allowing us to support hundreds of deserving charities and initiatives. We are grateful to have this opportunity."
