Baanto promotes new touchscreen on Etalk

Toronto-based display technology company Baanto International is conducting a launch promotion for a new touchscreen product called Shadowsense. From Sept. 4 to 12, the CTV television program Etalk will make use of a 110-inch interactive video wall labeled the "Etalk Star Screen powered by Baanto." The hosts of the show will use the screen as part of their entertainment news coverage.

"Touchscreen technology is penetrating every aspect of business and entertainment, and this Canadian-made technology is really evolving the world's touchscreen industry because it offers a better and more cost-effective solution to any option of its size currently on the market," said Av Utukuri, founder of Baanto. "This is just the beginning of what we can and will do. Marketers are sure to have a lot of fun with this touchscreen product."

As part of its overall launch of the product, similar displays have been installed at a number of Cineplex movie theatres. Additional support will include tradeshow appearance and direct marketing. Public relations for the launch are being conducted by LexPR.
