Gatorade conducts international soccer contest

Sports drink brand Gatorade has begun an international contest promotion called "Unreal Around the World." The soccer-themed contest will take place in 21 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Consumers can enter by submitting a video demonstrating their soccer skills to a website at <http://www.gatoradefootball.com> before June 12. Entrants must also submit an essay describing the training they've undergone to improve their game. Five winners will receive two-week trips to train with a series of football organizations including FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Liverpool, Arsenal, Boca Juniors and the Brazilian Football Confederation.

"This prize is what so many footballers around the world dream about, and something only Gatorade can offer," said Molly Carter, senior director of consumer engagement for Gatorade. "The opportunity to experience and train at some of the fields and stadiums of their heroes, past and present. Several of our team partners have opened their doors to us to make this possible. We collectively enjoy being able to provide an experience like this as it gives us the opportunity to drive the performance of elite footballers and underscores our growing commitment to the sport."

Gatorade is a division of PepsiCo.
