New marketing vice-president at Corby Spirit and Wine

Toronto-based alcohol marketer and distributor Corby Spirit and Wine has appointed Maxime Kouchnir to the position of vice-president of marketing. He will begin work on Jan. 1, 2014. Kouchnir has spent the last seven years at Pernod Ricard, most recently as vice-president of marketing for vodkas at Pernod Ricard USA. Prior to that, he was strategic planning director for Pernod Ricard Holding in Paris and marketing projects director at Pernod Ricard Europe. He has also worked at Danone, Scottish & Newcastle and Johnson & Johnson. Corby's outgoing marketing vice-president, Jeff Agdern, has become senior vice-president of wines and champagnes at Pernod Ricard.
