DundeeWealth rebrands as HollisWealth

Scotiabank has rebranded its DundeeWealth subsidiary as HollisWealth. The subsidiary consists of a group of independent financial advisors specializing in wealth management. DundeeWealth was acquired by Scotiabank from Dundee Corporation in 2011, along with a license to use the DundeeWealth trademark for three years.

As part of the rebranding, the company has launched a new website at <http://www.holliswealth.com> and has announced a national speaker series called "Living Longer, Living Better: Planning for Longevity in Canada" that will feature author and financial planner Patty Randall. The rebranding will also be promoted with a national print advertising campaign encompassing 154 publications.

"This is an exciting and significant time for us at HollisWealth," said Tuula Jalasjaa, managing director of HollisWealth. "For the first time, our independent advisory network will enjoy a unique position in the marketplace with a distinct identity and a strong, visible brand that's backed by Canada's most international bank. Thanks to the commitment and efforts of our more than 900 independent advisors across the country, this rebrand has been a great success. It's important to note that the only thing that has changed with our HollisWealth rebranding is our name. Our entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to superior client service are stronger than ever. We look forward to continuing to deliver holistic financial planning and advice to our clients under the new HollisWealth banner."
