Eco Entreprises Quebec debuts OptimEco.ca

Eco Entreprises Quebec of Montreal has constructed a new website at OptimEco.ca that focuses on packaging optimization. The site is aimed at Canadian companies that manufacture, design or distribute containers and packaging or packaged products. It is intended to provide information about optimizing containers, packaging and printed materials, as well as improving environmental performance.
"The portal makes unique expertise available to companies who generate CP&PM on our markets and assume financial or physical responsibility for end-of-life management," said Maryse Vermette, president and CEO of Eco Entreprises Quebec. "In Quebec, companies compensate 100% of the net costs of municipal curbside recycling services, which comes to over $100 million every year. We firmly believe that optimization is a promising avenue, as it will result in savings, innovation and a lighter environmental footprint.
