New president and CEO at Tourisme Montreal

Tourisme Montréal has appointed Yves Lalumière to the position of president and chief executive officer. He will take on the position on Aug. 19. Lalumière is currently the president of Transat Distribution Canada. He has also been vice-president of operations and business development, vice-president of the distribution network and general manager of the company. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at American Express. Outgoing president Charles Lapointe, who has headed Tourisme Montréal for 24 years, will remain with the organization as president emeritus.
