Community Foundations of Canada begins contest

Community Foundations of Canada has begun a contest to find people to appear in an upcoming national advertising campaign. Until Aug. 30, Canadians who are active in their communities or local community foundations can enter by submitting an audition video online at <>. The winners will receive a trip to Toronto to participate in the organization's first television and radio campaign. "Community foundation staff and volunteers are passionate advocates for their communities," says Ian Bird, president and CEO of Community Foundations of Canada. "There is no one better suited to communicate what our communities mean to us. We're looking for people who love their community and the spotlight to come forward and be part of our campaign." The campaign is being developed by Yield Branding of Toronto. Community Foundations of Canada represents 190 community foundations nationally.
