Community Foundations of Canada retains Yield Branding

Community Foundations of Canada has hired Yield Branding of Toronto to develop a national awareness campaign for the 187 community foundations represented by the organization. The campaign, which is expected to launch later this year, will be the first phase of a multi-year awareness program leading up to the organization's 150th anniversary in 2017. The assignment includes the development of a communications strategy and an advertising campaign consisting of television, radio, outdoor and online elements. "In visiting with community after community, the loudest message I've heard has been the desire to share our message with Canadians so they better understand how we contribute to building stronger and more resilient communities," said Ian Bird, president and CEO of Community Foundations of Canada. "Our story is compelling and unique, but it's one most Canadians have never heard. Yield's experience in articulating brand stories for organizations in both the non-profit and private sectors made them the ideal partner for our campaign."
