Valentine conducts Walk Off Your Poutine promotion

Quebec fast food restaurant chain Valentine has begun a promotion called "Walk Off Your Poutine." Developed by Lg2, the initiative makes use of a smartphone application that tracks the steps taken by a user and his or her overall level of physical activity. When the application determines that the user has burned a sufficient number of calories, it issues an electronic coupon that can be redeemed for free poutine at a Valentine location. The application also includes a restaurant locator and other promotional features.
