Rogers Radio has rebranded its contemporary country music station KIX 106.7 in Kitchener, ON as Country 106.7. The rebranding includes new on-air messages, a new logo and website, and a supporting television advertising campaign. The station is also preparing a new mobile application. "Country music is hot and comes with a very loyal and dedicated Canadian fan base," said Julie Adam, vice-president of programming at Rogers Radio. "The enhanced image and sound of Country 106.7 reflects the rapid growth and evolution of the format which we are excited to share with our listeners and advertisers." Over a period of months, Rogers Radio will roll-out similar rebranding initiatives at its other country music stations in Kingston, Ottawa and Sault St. Marie, ON, Abbotsford, BC and Fort McMurrary, AB.
