Rogers Media to buy Tillsonburg Broadcasting

Rogers Media has entered into an agreement to acquire Tillsonburg Broadcasting of Tillsonburg, ON. The company operates two radio stations in southwestern Ontario: Country 107.3 and Easy 101. The stations reach audiences in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Woodstock, St. Thomas and the surrounding area. The current staff of the stations, as well as general manager Carolyn Lamers, will remain in place. The transaction, which remains subject to CRTC approval, is expected to close in early 2017.

We are strong believers in the future of radio, and this purchase is part of our strategic plan to grow and expand our business in key markets."
