Chatelaine launches anniversary campaign

Chatelaine is conducting a promotion in association with Citytv television program Cityline in support of its 85th anniversary. The episode of the show that will air nationally tonight will feature audience members receiving various prizes from companies including Porter, Roots, Royal Doulton and the Right Hand Gal. During the broadcast, five television viewers will win the same prize packages given to the audience members. The show is the launch event for the magazine's "85 Extraordinary Moments" campaign, tied to the release of its June issue. The campaign will continue through the summer. "This has been an exciting time of growth and expansion for the Chatelaine brand, and as we hit the 85-years-young mark, we want to celebrate with our readers and viewers, without whom our longevity and ongoing success would not have been possible," said publisher Tara Tucker. "We are fortunate to have a partnership with Cityline and are delighted to make television history with them with the biggest-ever Canadian studio audience giveaway." Chatelaine is owned by Rogers Media, which is a division of Rogers Communications.
