Website roundup

Rogers Media of Toronto has introduced new websites for its magazines Chatelaine and Flare. The sites, located at <http://www.chatelaine.com> and <http://www.flare.com>, incorporate responsive designs that adapt themselves to viewing on computers, tablets or smartphones. The sites are also intended to be more vibrant and streamlined. According to Rogers, more of its properties, including Canadian Business, will be redesigned along similar principles over the next several months. "Readers no longer have to manipulate the screen or adjust type size to clearly see, read and experience the content," said Ryan Trotman, senior director and publisher at Rogers Digital Media. "This innovation has allowed us to create high-impact advertising in an uncluttered environment and extend it across all devices. We're introducing responsive full-page interstitials, which allow advertisers to reach our audiences with the same type of engaging ads as in our print magazines and our apps."
