Eczema Society of Canada releases online video

The Toronto-based Eczema Society of Canada has released an online video called “A Day with Eczema” to coincide with Eczema Awareness Month. The two-minute video depicts a day in the life of a woman named with chronic eczema. The video is being accompanied by social media activities and a website at <http://www.eczemahelp.ca>.
“Eczema is too often minimized or seen as nothing more than just dry skin, but the hard truth is that there are many Canadians who struggle deeply with the daily skin care routines, nonstop cycles of flares, and the incessant itch and pain that can accompany this condition,” said Amanda Cresswell-Melville, executive director of the organization. “Our video aims to start a conversation and show the world what eczema sufferers live with, and that they deserve to be seen and heard.”
