St Joseph Media adds two
St Joseph Media of Toronto has appointed Noreen Flanagan to the position of editor-in-chief of Fashion magazine. She will oversee content and brand strategy for the publication's print, digital, social media and video activities, as well as its branded events. Flanagan has spent the last six years as editor-in-chief of Elle Canada, a Transcontinental Media property. She has also been an executive editor at the magazine and a senior editor at Flare.
Steven Kawalit has been appointed to the position of digital director for women's brands. He will oversee digital and mobile activities for properties including Fashion, Men's Fashion, Weddingbells, Mariage Québec, Glow, Pure and Canadian Family. Kawalit was most recently digital director at Elle Canada. Prior to that, he was manager of digital marketing at BMO Financial Group and manager of online marketing at International Data Group. He has also held marketing positions at Capital One and EBay.
