Retail chain Future Shop will begin a promotion today in association with electronics company LG Canada. The initiative, called the "Hockey Challenge," invites consumers to participate in a series of hockey-themed online competitions at <http://www.futureshop.ca/hockeychallenge>. Participants can play three games in order to amass points and a place on the contest leaderboard. Each week for three weeks, the top ten players will be entered into a draw for a 47-inch LG 3D television set. Two grand prize winners will receive a package including a 55-inch TV, a surround sound system, a television stand or mount, cable and installation. The contest will be promoted with social media activities and through Future Shop flyers. The initiative will run until April 12. It was developed in-house by Future Shop will support from Smak and Pound & Grain.
