Pharmaceutical company Merck has retained Newad of Toronto to conduct a new campaign for its Claritin brand of allergy medication. Newad won the assignment in a call-for-tenders process involving an unknown number of firms. The agency will work on the account in association with Pilot PMR. The details of the campaign have not yet been announced. "Newad was chosen for its creativity, its approach, and its ability to conceive and execute a variety of multiplatform campaigns in-house," said Valérie Gervais, director of strategic planning at Newad.
