Match.com and Yahoo Canada have formed an association to create a pair of online dating websites: Yahoo Canada Dating at <http://yahoo.match.ca> and Yahoo Quebec Rencontres at <http://yahoo.ca.match.com>. The sites offer mobile access, daily personalized match suggestions, search tools and other features. "Yahoo is excited to extend our partnership with Match.com to Canada and offer an enhanced experience for people looking to find their ideal partner," said Gina Cothey, head of Yahoo Media Network Canada. "The new dating site represents the unification of the most popular brand in online dating and the most popular source for digital media, content and communications. We really are the perfect match."

Toronto-based Canadian Tire has launched a new online store dedicated to tires. The site, located at <http://www.canadiantire.ca/tires>, offers information on approximately 8,000 products, that can be sorted by vehicle, model year, size, tire type, or brand. The site also features product comparison capabilities and a function intended to held consumers select the right products for their vehicles. "Customers have turned to Canadian Tire for their automotive needs and we are excited to extend our broad assortment of tires and wheels online," said Allan MacDonald, senior automotive vice-president at Canadian Tire. "The launch of the online tire store not only provides Canadians with a new and innovative resource to help them buy the right tires for their vehicle, it also speaks to our commitment to raising the bar on the customer experience."
