Ikea Canada moves account to Leo Burnett

Ikea Canada has retained Leo Burnett as its creative agency of record. The agency won the account in a review process that began in November 2010. The account had been held by Crispin Porter & Bogusky (formerly Zig) for the last seven years. "Ikea's approach to marketing is to develop communication that has a distinctive and identifiable tone of voice, while still delivering strategically on our brand values," said Thom Kyle, vice-president if Ikea Canada. "We are thrilled with the result of our review. The team at Leo Burnett demonstrated a clear understanding of our brand identity throughout this process and will no doubt move our business forward through creative excellence."
