Ikea readies Chupa Chups promotion

Furniture retailer Ikea Canada is preparing a promotion in collaboration with candy company Perfetti Van Melle in the name of its Chupa Chups lollipop brand. The promotion features a limited-time meatball-themed lollipop based on an Ikea April Fools Day joke. The lollipop will be distributed for free in participating stores during June.
“When Ikea invited us to explore a lollipop inspired by their iconic Swedish meatball, we were immediately intrigued,” said Martin Hofling, global marketing manager for Chupa Chups. “This limited-edition lollipop is our playful tribute to a flavour that people all over the world associate with Ikea, reimagined in a way only Chupa Chups can do.”
