Ikea conducts Kitchen Showroom Showdown

Furniture retailer Ikea Canada has begun an online campaign called the “Ikea Kitchen Showroom Showdown.” The initiative takes the form of a series of YouTube videos in which two hosts each design and build a kitchen to meet a set of parameters. The five episodes will be accompanied by 12 additional social media executions featuring design and renovation advice. The series, developed by McGillivray Group, is also being hosted at <http://www.ikea.ca/showroomshowdown>.
“Short-form content has become a go-to source of home furnishing inspiration for Canadians,” said Jonelle Ricketts, head of marketing at Ikea Canada. “This series lets us meet Canadians where they are already consuming content with relatable storytelling, helpful ideas and two personalities Canadians already trust.”
