McGillivray Group expands into marketing services

McGillivray Group, a Toronto-based company specializing in media production and branded corporate partnerships, has expanded its services to include talent development and marketing services. The company has signed representation agreements with professional wrestler Trish Stratus and interior designer Debra Salmoni. According to the company, these new services are intended to compliment its existing focus on television, digital and podcast content. Its subsidiary, McGillivray Entertainment Media, produced the television series Canada's Got Talent, Scott's Vacation House Rules and Renovation Resort.

"Building relationships with brands and producing innovative content has always been a core part of our business," said company spokesperson Andrew McGillivray. "While our original focus was building the Scott McGillivray brand and creating supporting content, it became clear that there was an opportunity to apply the same principles to other talent brands. Through our many years of creating successful partnerships, one of our key differentiators is our focus on providing turnkey, end-to-end solutions for both talent and corporate brands that create strong, long-term and impactful relationships, instead of taking a transactional approach. Being a full service production company, from concept creation through post production, has been a mainstay in our business from day one, whether it was linear television or branded content for our partners. With this expansion, we're able to offer more opportunities for our partners, but also to select clients who aren't engaged in a full-scale partnership with us."
