New chairman at MuchFact

CTV has appointed David Kines to the position of chairman of MuchFact, a division of MuchMusic that provides funding to Canadian musical artists. Kines was previously the executive producer of the 2009 and 2010 Canada Rocks the Capitol television specials, executive producer of entertainment for Molson Canadian Hockey House at the 2010 Winter Games and co-executive producer of the 2010 Gemini Awards. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions at MuchMusic, including coordinating producer, director of music operations, program manager, vice-president and senior vice-president.
