Rogers Media promotes one, hires one

Toronto-based Rogers Media has promoted Leslie Sole to the newly-created position of chief content officer, responsible for the creation and execution of the Rogers Media content strategy. Sole previously oversaw the expansion of the Rogers Television division. Scott Moore has joined the company in the newly-created new position of president of broadcasting. He will oversee the company's television properties, including Citytv, Sportsnet and Omni, as well as its radio properties, programming, sales, production, regulatory, engineering and distribution. Moore was most recently at CBC Television. He has also previously worked at Rogers Sportsnet and operated his own production company.
