Pfizer Canada begins Start Something with Alesse contest

Pfizer Canada has begun a promotion called "Start Something with Alesse" in support of its Alesse birth control product. The initiative is aimed at young adults over the age of 16. Two winners will receive with mentoring and financial support to help them reach personal goals. Entries can be submitted online at <http://www.startsomethingwithalesse.ca> until Jan. 4, 2011. Christine Ho, co-founder of non-profit organization Well of Change, and musician and television personality Marième Ndiaye will be contest judges and mentors to the two winners. The judges will select six finalists, while the two winners will be determined by online voting. "We want to see today's generation change the world," said John McKendry, commercial director of Pfizer original brands in the established products business unit. "By providing resources and support to two creative and passionate individuals, we are hoping to help support them through a unique and self-fulfilling experience. Alesse is proud to be able to provide resources to young Canadians to help them pursue their goals and 'start something' of their own."
