Scotiabank signs NHL sponsorship with Rogers

Scotiabank has signed a six-year National Hockey League sponsorship agreement with Rogers Communications. Under the terms of the agreement, Scotiabank will be the title sponsor of Wednesday Night Hockey, a presenting sponsor of Sunday Night Hockey and a sponsor of Hockey Night in Canada. The agreement will include multi-platform brand exposure on various Rogers properties. Scotiabank will also participate in a series of fan initiatives and community programs. The deal also includes non-NHL-related advertising. This is the first NHL sponsorship agreement Rogers has formed since acquiring the national broadcast and multimedia rights of the NHL last year.

"Scotiabank has a tremendous tradition of supporting the NHL and grassroots hockey across Canada. They are passionate about our communities and are aggressive on innovation.
