CBC promoted Pilling

Trevor Pilling has been appointed executive producer of the CBC program Hockey Night in Canada. He succeeds Sherali Najak, who has become senior producer responsible for production of the show from its mobile broadcast truck. Pilling has previously produced sports programming including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Pilling joined CBC in 1994. He moved to CBC Sports in 1997 as an associate director for CFL programming.
