Trans Canada Trail begins ad campaign

The Trans Canada Trail has released a 30-second commercial promoting its beauty, accessibility and uniqueness. The ad, developed by Doug & Serge of Toronto, consists of images of various landscapes, overlaid with text providing facts about the trail. It ends with the tagline, "Get out there Canada." Intended to raise awareness of the national project, the ad began running nationally in English and French in Cineplex theatres this month. "The trail is something that all Canadians can appreciate as it is a national treasure that belongs to all of us," said Serge Rancourt, the agency's chief operating officer. When completed the Trans Canada Trail will run for 22,000 km across the country, making it the longest recreational trail in the world.
